HA3NS MEMORIAL CONTEST HA3NS Memorial Contest 2010 - Final Results Earlier results: RESULTS 2009 RESULTS 2008 RESULTS 2007 RESULTS 2006 RESULTS 2005 János "Jan" Weisz HA3NS (1955-2000) Jan was born in 1955 in a little town in South Hungary called Szekszárd. He started his radioamateur carreer at the age of 14 in the local Radio Club HA3KNA. He got his licence HA3NS in 1972. During his military service (1973-74) he was active member of radioclub HA8KUN. During his studies (1974-77) he established a radioclub with his student mates and they worked with HA9KPU callsign. After graduating as engineer he went back to Szekszárd and became the leader of Radioclub HA3KNA. He was very active HF, HST and ARDF contester and also liked hunting DXs, high speed CW and collecting awards. He spent lot of time in his Radioclub and under his leadership numerous young people became radioamateur. He was very successful in high speed telegraphy (HST) and ARDFcompetitions and gained many medals in national and international championships. In 1991 he won bronze medal in European HST Championship and in 1998 silver medal in ARDF World Championship. Between 1995-1999 he served as transmitting referee in the International Jury of HST championships. He had a licenced radioamateur family: his XYL HG3FTS, his son HA3VA and his daughter HA3VW. He was member among other of HSC, VHSC, SHSC clubs and one of the founder of HACWG. March 2010 (Friday) 1st period 7MHz 18.30-19.00 UTC 2nd period 3.5MHz 19.00-19.30 UTC Band: 7010-7040 KHz and 3510-3560 KHz Mode: CW only Categories: Single op (single TX) Exchange: 599 + membership number for HACWG members, 599 + NM to all other participants Call for contest: CQ NS QSY Rule: If any station make a QSO after a CQ or QRZ he/she have to QSY at least 1KHz from that frequency to continue the competition. Multiplier: no multipliers Score: Each valid contact counts 1 point. The final score the is the total number of valid QSO's Awards: A cup will be issued for the winner and awards for the 1-3 places Log: Log must be contained: Date, UTC, Callsign, frequency, exchanged report Sumary: Callsign, name, address, claimed score of the participant E-log preffered (plain ASCII format) but paper log also will be accepeted.
